Spanish Property Lost Deposits
- Did your builder or developer go bankrupt during the Spanish property crash?
- Were you left with an unfinished property?
- Did you lose your deposit and/or stage payments?
Prior to 2008 it is believed that Spain had sold more homes than any other European country with many of these properties been sold off-plan. Unfortunately for many buyers these developments never completed leaving 1000’s of people out of pocket, losing any money they had invested.
In 2015, the Spanish Supreme Court ruled that anyone who has invested in an incomplete development in Spain, the Canary Islands or the Balearic Islands can claim against the developer who would have held the deposit at the time.
Time is running out!
The ruling applies to any deposits paid on incomplete developments, but you only have until October 2020 to submit your claims.
If you have paid money to a Spanish developer on a property or properties that were not completed, please contact us and we can access your case FREE of Charge and will advise you if you a viable claim.
